In this Holy Week liturgy, we share Saint Luke’s account of the Last Supper. It was at this sacred meal, Jesus instituted the Eucharist. He broke bread and gave it to his friends saying “This is my body.” Fr Columba says these same words every time he celebrates Mass and he explains to us why he believes that Jesus is truly present in the bread and wine we share. In a very special time of prayer, we look upon Jesus in the Eucharist and adore him. Angel concludes our Last Supper liturgy with the hymn “This is My Body.”
