Two of Jesus's best friends, James and John, come to him with a question. It shows that they have a lot to learn about what it means to be great in the kingdom of God. Mary helps us reflect upon the Gospel and consider how, to be great, you must be a servant like Jesus. This leads beautifully into a time in Jesus's presence and then the hymn 'Servant King.'
