Never Lose Heart
In this Gospel liturgy we hear Jesus use the parable of the unjust judge to explain that we must never lose heart. We use this as a chance to encourage children to always remember that they are loved by God and can remind themselves of God’s promises whenever they are feeling low on confidence.
Fr Columba gives a brilliant reflection and talks about how the Gospel reminds him of Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh. He explains how Eeyore constantly speaks to himself with negative and discouraging thoughts. He reminds us that Jesus doesn’t want us to think this way and that by remembering who God says we are, we can build our confidence, take on challenges and be the people he made us to be.
