In the Gospel this week, we meet Jesus as he calls his first disciples. Angel reflects upon how Mark's Gospel account includes so little detail about the encounters between Jesus and the fishermen Simon Peter, Andrew, James and John. She explains that it is in the gaps in the story where prayer can begin. As we celebrate the Sunday of the Word of God, we invite children to enter into this beautiful scripture and prayerfully imagine what it could have been like by the Lake with Jesus. We conclude with the hymn "Follow Me, Follow Me" sung by Sr Chiara.
