A great prayer we have at The Mark 10 Mission is that teachers and children can watch our videos and be inspired to lead Celebrations of the Word themselves. Greg has put together a step-by-step planning form to help adults and children lead their own prayer times.
This form is based on our Mark 10 method of leading children into awe and wonder as they experience scripture. It also uses the structure of Celebrations of the Word (Gather, Word, Response and Mission) as outlined in the Prayer and Liturgy Directory.
The form includes scripted elements to read and also blank spaces to add in specific content for the season and scripture chosen.
