On the day of Pentecost, the followers of Jesus were gathered in one place. The Holy Spirit came in the form of a rushing wind and filled each one of them. Tongues of fire separated and rested upon their heads. In this liturgy we celebrate the day of Pentecost and the birth of the Church. We hear the reading from the Book of Acts, Greg reflects upon this momentous day, we pray to be filled with the Holy Spirit and worship with Fr Columba as he sings ‘Rest on Us.’
